At Sakaya, we're turning today's agricultural waste

into tomorrow's energy.

Don't BURN down, We do BUY

Transforming agricultural waste into renewable energy, Sakaya pioneers in producing biomass pellets through cutting-edge technology. Our vision centers on sustainability, innovation, and supporting a circular economy

Vision

We aim to enhance the value and enable the use of agricultural waste as an alternative energy source in the form of biomass pellets.

Vision

Thailand spans 11,248 km² of cornfields. Traditionally, these fields are burned post-harvest, impacting the environment.

11,248

One-fourth of agricultural produce are left as residual waste.  This includes approximately 1.2M tons of corn cobs and 310K tons of corn husks annually.

25%

Apart from the 1.5 million tons of corn cobs and husks, there is an additional 5.2 million tons of stalks, stubbles, and corn foliage produced annually.

5.2M

Agricultural waste produce 1,917.69 CO2 gram/kilogram of dry biomass or 13.2 million tons of CO2 per year. We are working our best to lower this number.

Biomass Pellet

Biomass pellets are created from compressed agricultural leftovers. They replace coal in power and heating systems, cutting pollution. Using our pellets, you can lower your carbon footprint in manufacturers.

White Pellets

White biomass pellets are a type of biofuel produced from agricultural waste through a process of grinding, drying, and compressing into pellets. White Pellets provide high heat energy and low moisture content, making them an efficient alternative to fossil fuels like coal, fuel oil, and LPG.

White Pellets serve as a renewable energy source that helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere, mitigates environmental impact, and is a key mechanism in reducing the burning of biomass waste that contributes to PM2.5 pollution.

Black Pellets

Black biomass pellets are another type of biofuel which are produced through a process of size reduction, drying, and compressing biomass into pellets. These pellets then undergo a Torrefaction process at temperatures of 280-300°C in a low-oxygen environment.
